The Joy Of Giving

The Joy Of Giving

This month, HOAMCO attended the annual Joy of Giving luncheon to help celebrate the people and organizations working to make Yavapai County such a great place to live.

Mike Fann of Fann Contracting was awarded the ‘Philanthropist of the Year’ award for his long history of supporting community development and nonprofit organizations in Yavapai County.

Mike came to HOAMCO earlier this year and told us about Fann Contracting’s employee giving program (called ‘FEMAD’) and asked if we’d be interested in having his help to create our own.

Of course, we jumped at the opportunity, and it has been such a wonderful experience from day one. HOAMCO has always supported local non-profits, but this year, we are honored to be able to extend the joy of giving to our employees through our employee giving program, Cultivating Community.

HOAMCO matches employee donations dollar-for-dollar and all funds stay within Yavapai County to directly fund four non-profits that fit perfectly into the Cultivating Community mission: to enrich the lives of our employees and local community through support of local 501(c)(3) charities that provide assistance with healthcare, children, animals and veterans.

We look forward to watching the Cultivating Community program flourish in years to come.

Congratulations on the award Mike, you certainly deserve it!
